From Downtown:
From Dupont Circle area take Rhode Island Avenue NW/US-1 ,heading NE. (3.6 mi).
Enter Maryland. At 34th St and Perry St. Traffic Circle take the 3rd exit to continue on Rhode Island Ave/US-1
Pass major intersection at 38th Street and make right on 39th Street. Second floor entrrance to Art Center will be on your left.

From the Beltway:
Take 495 to Baltimore Ave/US -1 (Exit 25B if you are Eastbound on the Beltway. Exit 25 if you are heading west on the Beltway)
Go south towards college Park on Baltimore Ave /US 1. Continue to follow Baltimore Ave southbound. About 8 blocks after you cross East West Highway (Route 410) the road splits and you bear right, following Route 1 to Rhode Island Avenue. Follow Rhode Island Avenue to 38th St. Make a U-turn at 38th St and then go back one block and make right on 39th Street. Second floor entrrance to Art Center will be on your left.
